I must confess I'm not a reader of the french satirical newspaper "Charlie Hebdo" en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charlie_… , but I was a Georges Wolinski' longtime fan en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Georges_… .
Georges Wolinski' works was part of my critical formation, when I was an "airhead" high school student; he was one of the first cartoonist who influenced me. His ferocious humor was one of the things taught me to have a critical sense.
Today, I knew through internet the news about the shooting occurred in the newspaper "Charlie Hebdo", and got shocked when I learned that Wolinski was among those killed in the shooting.
I'm REALLY sad, I wanna say something more about it, but I'm feeling really angry, sad and sore.
the only thing I can say is: Au revoir, Monsieur Wolinski. (Goodbye, Mr. Wolinski). RIP.
See you later, fellas.
And these webcomics are still making my brains:

Shutdowns and choices
Today, october 4th, 2021, something very peculiar happened; three online social networks - WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram - "collapsed". The first thing I tried to check was my profile here on DeviantArt, and as we can see, is all OK. Same in my Twitter' profile. Other networks and plataforms are OK, too. No problem on Webtoon. PornHub is working as usual; even Pinterest is OK. At the same time, newspapers speak of yet another financial scandal involving offshore operators, and among the many rich people involved, we have the infamous Brazilian minister of economy and the president of the Central Bank of Brazil. Of course, it's just an inconsequential hunch of mine, but I wouldn't be surprised if Mark Zuckerberg, a billionaire himself, wasn't trying to save the ass of his peers, financial speculators. Anyway, the good old DeviantArt is still standing, and I confirm my fondness for this social network. I need to enhance my presence here. With more art. Thank you, Angelo. I pledge

Checking my DeviantArt' favorites list, I found that I have over 3000 favorites. That's insane!
Most of these favorites are fine art that made me think I could learn something from them, others are artworks from people I admire, for their technical ability or the themes they chose. Anyway, I left this huge collection accumulate inordinately, and now I can't see the whole collection anymore.
It's a shame for a library science student, a librarian apprentice; so now I'm trying to organize my favorites' collection into specific folders, hoping to be able to see everything again.
But there are more than three thousand f...ing favorites! That's i
Ten f...ing years!
Suddely, TEN years!!! And I never realized it!
It's been seven months since I've been ten years as a DeviantArt user, since past october, and just now I realize it! I feel puzzled about it, I really like to use this web network, I feel I'm in home, here.
Like many people around the world, I'm a user of other social networks, - I was an Orkut' user, and now I'm a Facebook' user - but this one has a special value for me; it's the social network where I do what I like, and I meet people like me. It's my "virtual homeland".
Well, first I must say thank you for my friend ~AlexandreLancaster (https://www.deviantart.com/alexandrelancaster) for introduce me to DeviantArt, many years ago.

Wish I could say I read George's work, but I only heard of him after the tragedy.
